Canine (and sometimes human) Counsellor.

Annika McDade is the Founder of Canine Connection Training and Media Services.

She is a triple certified Professional Dog Trainer & Behaviour Consultant with a compelling history as a radio personality and world traveler. She’s even been involved in the training of wild animals for film ( … we are talking about wolves in Mongolia here ).  These accomplishments are secondary to her natural knack for connecting with people. Annika is invested as much in the transformation of her clients as she is in their pets. To her, dog training is anything but transactional.

With 3, soon to be 4, Dog training Certifications under her belt, Annika has been rated as one of the top trainers in Vancouver. She is a member of multiple international dog training governing bodies. Ie: Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and serves as an expert consultant for several thriving pet service companies. ( ie: Jet Pet, Release the Hounds, Pet Shop Boys ). She can also be seen as a regular contributor sharing dog related content on Global TV.

Annika’s future passion project is the formation of a community based social venture that brings pet therapy into the mainstream at a time when people and dogs need it most!
