Since 2015, Laura has been helping people build strong, connected relationships with their dogs—whether through one-on-one coaching, fun group classes, or community support. She’s worked with adventure dogs in Squamish, beach-loving pups on the Sunshine Coast, and small-town companions in the East Kootenays. Now based in the beautiful Comox Valley, Laura brings her experience and heart to every training session.

Her approach was shaped by her own journey of growth with her dogs. Whether your life together involves couch snuggles, neighborhood strolls, or backcountry adventures, Laura believes the foundation is the same: trust, empathy, and communication. Her own dogs are her trail buddies, road trip copilots, and everyday companions—and they continue to inspire her work.

Laura’s training is grounded in humane, evidence-based methods like positive reinforcement, desensitization, enrichment, environmental management, and play.

She specializes in: in puppy raising, reactivity, multi-dog dynamics, and complex behaviour challenges. She creates training plans that work for your unique dog and lifestyle, so you can build a relationship that’s strong, adaptable, and joyful.
